01 Domestic Shipping

Shipping Within Canada

We offer fast, reliable shipping across all Canadian provinces and territories. Every domestic order is shipped fully insured with signature confirmation to ensure your jewellery arrives safely. An adult signature is required for all deliveries.

All in-stock orders placed before 12:00 PM MST, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), will be fulfilled within 3 to 5 business days and shipped shortly after. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day.

Our primary shipping carrier is FedEx. Please note that FedEx does not ship to P.O. Box addresses. If this applies to you, please contact us and we will arrange an alternative shipping method.

Worldwide Delivery

Design Jewellers ships to over 50 countries worldwide. All international shipments are sent via FedEx International Priority with full insurance coverage, real-time tracking, and signature confirmation upon delivery.

Please note: International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by their country of destination. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are collected by your local customs authority upon delivery. You may also be required to provide additional documentation to customs for your item to be released. It is your responsibility to inquire about these requirements with your local customs agent prior to ordering.

Areas outside major centres may experience longer delivery times than posted. Unforeseen circumstances including weather events and postal disruptions may also affect shipping timeframes.

03 High-Value Orders

Orders Over $10,000

For the security and protection of our valued customers, all orders with a total value exceeding $10,000 CAD require in-store pickup at our West Edmonton Mall location. This policy applies to both domestic and international customers.

Your investment deserves the highest level of care. High-value jewellery pieces, including engagement rings with premium diamonds, luxury watches, and custom commissions, are presented to you in a private appointment at our showroom. This ensures authenticity verification, proper sizing, and a personal walkthrough of your GIA certification, care instructions, and warranty documentation.

04 Processing and Packaging

From Our Hands to Yours

Every piece that leaves Design Jewellers is inspected, polished, and packaged with the same care we put into crafting it.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation within minutes of placing your order, including your order number and a summary of your purchase. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us by email or phone at (780) 489-0058.

Quality Inspection

Our goldsmith inspects every piece for quality, verifies stone settings, and ensures your item meets our exacting standards. This typically takes 1 to 2 business days.

Luxury Packaging

Your jewellery is placed in our signature gift box, wrapped in protective tissue, and sealed. Custom engraved pieces or special orders include a certificate of authenticity.

Secure Dispatch

Your package is double-boxed in a discreet, unbranded outer carton with no indication of the contents. It is then handed to our courier partner with full insurance coverage. You will be notified with shipping details before your item is sent.

Tracking and Delivery

You will receive a tracking number by email once your package ships. All deliveries require an adult signature, no exceptions.

Custom and made-to-order pieces are handcrafted based on your specifications and may require 2 to 3 weeks to complete prior to shipping. If you have special timing requests or deadlines, please contact us before placing your order.

Backordered and special order items: If your order includes a backordered or non-stocked item, you will be contacted via email with an estimated delivery date. Your confirmation will be required to proceed. For orders containing both in-stock and special order items, the entire order will be shipped together upon receipt of all items, unless you request otherwise.

05 Tracking and Insurance

Full Visibility, Full Protection

Every shipment from Design Jewellers is fully insured for the complete retail value of its contents from the moment it leaves our store until it is signed for at your door.

In the unlikely event that a package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, we will replace the item or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.

Tracking information is sent to your email automatically when your order ships. You can also check your shipment status at any time by contacting our team directly.

If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, please contact us within 48 hours so we can initiate an investigation with the carrier immediately.

06 Cancellations and Important Notices

Order Cancellations

You have 24 hours from the time of purchase to cancel your order. After this window, payment will be processed and the order cannot be reversed. To cancel, please send a written email to design@designjewellers.com with your full order details so we can handle this promptly.

Shipping, handling, and applicable taxes are calculated based on the order total, shipping destination, and shipping method. All charges are fully disclosed on your final order screen during checkout.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that appears suspect or fraudulent.

Yes, you can specify a different shipping address during checkout. For security purposes, orders shipping to an address different from the billing address may require additional verification, which could add 1 business day to processing time.
Yes. For time-sensitive orders within Canada, we offer FedEx Priority Overnight for a flat rate of $34.95. For international express options, please contact us directly and we will arrange the fastest available service for your destination.
The courier will make up to three delivery attempts. After the third attempt, the package will be held at the nearest FedEx or Canada Post facility for pickup. We recommend providing a delivery address where someone will be available to sign, such as your workplace.
Absolutely. During checkout, select In-Store Pickup and choose our West Edmonton Mall location. You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection, typically within 1 to 2 business days. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID for verification.
