Our engagement ring collection is built for that sensibility. The pieces are quietly proportioned, refined rather than showy, and designed to feel completely at home on a hand that lives at island pace.
Every ring is handcrafted in our Edmonton workshop. We have been making jewellery there continuously since 1980, more than forty-five years of daily bench practice by goldsmiths who have spent careers learning what a setting needs to hold for decades and what a profile should feel like in the hand. CAD design, wax carving, casting, hand finishing, stone setting, engraving, and final polish all happen under one roof, by the same small team. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is white-labelled. Each ring passes a strict, multi-stage internal review for metal integrity, prong security, symmetry, and finish before it is approved to leave the bench.
We work in restrained proportions and classical settings, with stones chosen for cut and life rather than carat-weight theatre. Restraint is what allows a ring to age well. Trend-heavy designs tend to look dated within a decade. Quietly proportioned ones tend to look right in any era, including the one in which they will eventually be passed down to someone you have not yet met.
If a piece in this collection is close to what you have in mind but you would prefer a different centre stone shape, a different metal, an engraving inside the band, or a setting reworked around a family stone you already own, we build it to your specifications at the same pricing as our ready-made designs. Custom design is part of how the workshop runs every day, not an upcharged service.
